STEEL SAFETY TOE
In 1995 OSHA began enforcing a new standard for personal protective equipment. As part of this standard employers now require ASTM F2413-11 rated safety footwear in areas where employees are exposed to injuy as a result of falling or rolling objects. All steel toe boots with this icon meet or exceed ASTM F2413-11 I/75 C/75 standards.
The soles of EH shoes provide a barrier to protect employees from open electrical currents up to 600 volts. EH shoes are often needed in maintenance, welding and engineering positions. All styles marked with the “EH” icon in this catalog meet the ASTM F2413-11 EH standard.
Several of our styles provide insulation against the cold and are built for the tough outdoor environments. Our range of insulation available is 200gms - 600gms. The styles offering insulation will be marked with the specific weight of insulation to help guide you in your selection.
Waterproof boots and shoes are constructed to keep the feet dry and comfortable in wet conditions. Waterproof construction requires continuous maintenance and is not guaranteed to remain for the life of the shoe.
Slip resistant safety footwear is the fastest growing segment of the safety footwear industry. For many employers with wet, oily, and/or greasy floors, it is common sense to require slip resistant safety footwear. Slip related injuries can be extremely costly. No shoe is slip proof, however employers who require slip resistant shoes can reduce worker’s compensation claims.

Super heavy clunky crap
This boot will mess up not only your feet but your knees hips and ankles as well. They will tire you out also. Why must they be so heavy and clunky. If you have alot of walking on ballasts in the yard going on, you will regret owning these. Had to share my experience.OverallComfortArch Support: Minimal arch supportSize: Felt true to sizeWidth: Felt true to width

These are the most uncomfortable pair of footwear i have ever worn. Feels like my feet have been run over with a steamroller after a day of wearing these.OverallComfortArch Support: Minimal arch supportSize: Felt a half size larger than markedWidth: Felt true to width
Soles felt like walking on concrete even with Dr. Scholls inserts. I am going to opt for the hiker style now. Prior to the Timberlands I wore the Hytest brand without any complaints.OverallComfortArch Support: Moderate arch supportSize: Felt true to sizeWidth: Felt true to width
Great sturdy boots but a bit heavy
The boots look really nice and they are of great quality but, the comfort for me, is not that comfortable. After a few hours with them on, I cannot wait to take them off. Maybe its me but, I don't feel like they are that comfortable. Overall, it keeps my feet warm and the grip is pretty good in the snow and wet surfaces.OverallComfortArch Support: Excellent arch supportSize: Felt true to sizeWidth: Felt true to width
