Saf-Gard® Completes Integration of Summit Safety Shoes

Portland, OR — January 6, 2026 — Today, Saf-Gard^® Safety Shoe Company announced that Summit Safety Shoes—founded in 2001 in Portland, Oregon, and a trusted supplier to Oregon and Washington workers for 25 years—has officially folded into the Saf-Gard^® brand and identity, marking the next step in a process that has been underway behind the scenes for some time.

Saf-Gard^® purchased Summit Safety in mid-2024 and has been managing its customer service, distribution, and product fulfillment behind the scenes for nearly two years. This final step brings Summit fully under the Saf-Gard brand and gives customers a single, consistent experience.
