Greensboro, North Carolina — May 19, 2026 - Saf-Gard^® Safety Shoe Company is proud to announce its expansion through the acquisition of Work Wear Safety, a respected provider of safety footwear and workplace safety programs with locations serving Texas, New Mexico, Colorado, and Arkansas.

This acquisition marks a major milestone for Saf-Gard as the company continues expanding its national footprint and strengthening its commitment to workplace safety. The addition of Work Wear Safety significantly broadens Saf-Gard’s presence across the Southwest and Central United States, expanding the company’s ability to provide trusted safety footwear programs, mobile shoe store services, retail support, and personalized customer service to businesses and employees throughout the region.
